Known Symptoms
- Burning or stinging sensation during urination.
- Frequent urge to urinate even with small urine amounts.
- Cloudy or foul-smelling urine sometimes present.
- Lower abdominal or pelvic discomfort accompanying urination.
Known Causes
- Urinary tract infections caused by bacteria.
- Sexually transmitted infections affecting the urinary tract.
- Kidney or bladder stones causing obstruction and irritation.
- Irritation from medications, hygiene products, or catheter use.
Care
- Take prescribed antibiotics or medications as directed by your doctor.
- Drink plenty of water to flush the urinary tract.
- Avoid irritants such as harsh soaps or chemicals.
