The department of Pain Management at Royal Bahrain Hospital aims to improve the quality of life for patients who suffer from acute, chronic as well as cancer pain. Persistent pain can alter a person’s life and can be notably uncomfortable which subsequently affects sleep patterns, social and family life and can be as source of other health problems – both physical and mental. Our goal is to help patients manage their pain and empower them to return to their daily activities.
Our multidisciplinary team of pain experts, which include nurses and therapists, focus on a holistic approach to diagnose the source of pain as well as its management and treatment by providing up to date interventional procedures, therapies and medications as well as getting to the root cause of the underlying condition.
